An information day on the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place on 21 May in Toulouse, France, organised by the European information centre and the Midi-Pyrenees Innovation Relay Centre (IRC).

The focus of the event will be on the funding opportunities for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) under FP6.

Three workshops will take place, focusing on nanotechnologies and nanosciences, knowledge-based multifunctional materials, and new production processes and devices, aeronautics and space and finally, food quality and safety.

Representatives from French national contact points (NCPs) and the European Commission will be present to answers any queries regarding FP6.
