The recalls that have hit the headlines in 2012

Recalls of 2012: A recap

By Joe Whitworth , 20-Dec-2012

This year has been quite eventful for recalls of food and beverage products, some due to foodborne contamination and others due to packaging faults.

We have seen Fonterra recalling butter due to metal contamination, Britivc withdrawing Fruit Shoot because of a packaging fault and Sunland Inc. being at the centre of a salmonella outbreak from peanut butter.

FoodQualityNews.com takes you through the recalls in true 12-days-of-Chrismas-style with one for each month spanning all corners of the globe.
