5 April - Belgium: Ranobo Belgium has removed pistachios from shelves after food agency testing revealed they contained too much afloxtoxin.
The Federal Food Agency (AFSCA) said there was no direct risk but aflotoxin presents a concern in high and repeated uses.
The recall involves Pistachios branded Ranobo Belgium in a 175g pack expiration dates: 03-11-2014 and 12-11-2014 and 01-12-2014.
Pistachios in a 400g and 1300 gram pack are also withdrawn with the dates 10-09-2014 and 27-09-2014.
