OctoFrost Group has acquired Innotec Systems, which manufactures food processing machinery and processing lines including thermal processes for blanching, cooking and chilling.

Ruben Larsson, founder, OctoFrost Group, known for its individual quick freezing (IQF) freezer tunnels, said the deal means it is becoming a key player in supplying complete IQF processing lines.

“Taking over Innotec was our natural response to the needs of the market,” he said.

OctoFrost Group and Innotec Systems have a long history together, installing multiple processing lines around the globe.

Its focus is thermal treatment of food products, to give it an appetizing appearance, natural bite, natural smell and taste.

Rasmus Larsson, CEO, OctoFrost Group, added the acquisition strengthens its expertise in food processing application and thermal treatment.

We can now optimize the entire line for the best final result, highest yield, lowest energy consumption bringing the highest value to our customers,” he said.

“Our After Sales activities also benefit from the scale up in the organization and we can be closer to our customers.”
