Campden BRI will run a seminar on microbial cross-contamination, which has been linked to foodborne illness outbreaks.
It will focus on the organisms of most concern (E.coli, Listeria, Salmonella) through transfer and prevention methods (antimicrobial surfaces) to risk assessment and using prerequisite programmes.
Topics range from Professor Christine Dodd, University of Nottingham’s presentation on “Persistence of Salmonella in food factories” to Marc Wormald, from the Food Standards Agency about “E.coli O157 control”.
Speakers from Campden BRI, Nottingham Trent University, Camfill, INRA and PepsiCo will also present.
The seminar is on 4 March 2014 and costs £295+VAT for members and £395+VAT for non-members.
