The foundation was set up in June 2008 as an independent entity to the plant extract specialist. It supports education, medicine and basic necessities in the communities from which the company sources materials.
Four young people are now set up with their own farms under the Tayouga project in Morocco, which promotes social integration for young disabled people in the countryside by training them and establishing them in a farm. Four more young people are in training.
In Peru, the foundation has enabled the supply of an x-ray machine at a dental office in Ninacaca, and an internet centre – plus computer training for children.
