Selig Group wins Grade A BRC Certification
Selig Group’s closure seal manufacturing facility has received a Grade A certification under the British Retail Consortium‘s (BRC) Global Standards for Packaging and Packaging Materials.

The audit was conducted at Selig, Forrest, US, last month by UL-DQS and Selig-Canada is currently preparing for BRC certification, converting its food safety standards from the ASI certification program.

By receiving an ‘A’ grade rating, Selig Forrest has significantly strengthened its food safety standards and practices.

The BRC certification is one of several progams that meet the requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which is an internationally recognized food safety standard led by major food retailers and producers, including McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Walmart, Mondelēz, and Danone.

The GFSI charter is continuous improvement of food safety management systems to ensure confidence in the delivery of safe food to consumers worldwide.
