Food recalls for this week have been notified by Canada, USA, England, Scotland, Norway, Spain, Belgium, New Zealand and Denmark.
In the final recall round-up gallery of 2016 we travel across the world to keep you up to date with market withdrawals.
We start with Pinnacle Foods recalling cake mix in Canada due to potential Salmonella contamination and the same pathogen led to a recall of pistachios in the US by H-E-B.
Staying with pathogens, Listeria prompted Loch Arthur Creamery to recall cheese in Scotland.
Mould growth in some smoothies led to Geia Food issuing a recall in Denmark, potential metal contamination of spinach in the UK from Spain was recalled by Nisa Retail and incorrect labelling of spicy sausages saw La Vieille Abbaye recall products in Belgium.
Undeclared milk prompted recalls in Australia and New Zealand by Flush Fitness of cookies from the US and peanut and soy not on the label led to a recall by Hval Sjokoladefabrikk in Norway.
Finally, King Meat Services recalled beef due to misbranding in the US and Aecosan issued a warning about white corn due to undeclared sulphites.
Going forward into 2017, what are your thoughts on the recall gallery? Is it useful and what would you like to see different/more? Send comments and feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org
