iNECTA has partnered with Trace Register on software to improve food safety and sustainability.

Microsoft Dynamics is a suite of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software applications.

iNECTA said with increased traceability the food industry can enforce accountability.

The company added it was possible to bring choice to the consumer whether to support sustainable sources or not.

Trace Register provides a database to track the supply chain of seafood from vessel to the plate. As seafood travels through the supply chain, the business software reports status and location of the product.

The firm puts all segments together for the consumer, producer or distributer to have traceability.

It also enables the user to identify if the product meets certain size and quality standards for a particular market.

Trace Register has clients in 40 countries, supported by customer service teams in North and South America and Asia.
