Best Sanitizers is to expand its toll blending and private label contract manufacturing capabilities.

The Walton, Kentucky-based facility specializes in hand soaps as well as hand and surface sanitizers for the food processing industry.

The site serves the US and Canada and contains an analytical laboratory, clean room and multiple high-speed filling lines.

It opened in 2006 and expanded in 2008 and again in 2015.

Custom blenders like Best Sanitizers take over making the product for companies that do not have the technical ability.

It also has contract filling and packaging capabilities.

Products are used in more than 9,000 food processing facilities in the US and Canada.

The firm said the future of contract manufacturing was bright as the FDA, EPA and other agencies increase regulation and scrutiny of products under their jurisdiction.

Ryan Witt, Best Sanitizers’ VP of sales and marketing, said it offers a complete turn-key manufacturing service.

“From product development, to blending, filling, labelling, and complete component management, we take those responsibilities off the customer’s shoulders so they can focus on other aspects of their business."

The parent company, Saraya Co., is in the areas of healthcare, hand hygiene and food sanitation.
