The 2017 Food Safety & Quality Operations Survey will help better understand gaps and ways to manage food safety risk.
Jill Bender, VP marketing at SafetyChain, said it looks forward to sharing with industry how challenges compare to their peers and steps being taken to overcome barriers.
“The complexities of overseeing food safety and quality continue to grow including the challenges associated with ensuring compliance, mitigating supply chain risk, and monitoring performance.”
The firms combined for a survey last year which found three out of four respondents felt their companies were not completely ready for FSMA compliance.
“Managing risk in the food and beverage industry is increasingly challenging, and the more we can share about cost-effective solutions the better for all,” said Dr David Acheson, CEO of the Acheson Group.
Food and beverage industry safety and quality assurance professionals can participate and all survey respondents will receive a copy of the results.
Initial results will be shared during the September 29 ‘FSMA Fridays’ online, monthly forum session with Dr David Acheson and his team.
