Here we find Listeria, metal contamination and allergen concerns leading to recalls and withdrawals
This week in the recall round-up gallery the reasons behind food withdrawals takes us to the US, Canada, the UK and Australia
16 May - UK: Ana Food Packaging recalled its Halal Market Tandoori Masala Chicken Drumsticks because the product contains milk which is not mentioned on the label.
The product was incorrectly labelled with a Halal Market Chicken Drumstick label so does not have an ingredient declaration or allergy advice on the label.
This makes the 800g product a possible health risk for those with an allergy or intolerance to milk or its constituents.
Asda has issued a point-of-sale notice and the UK supermarket said: "We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused and will ensure this doesn’t happen again."
