This year has been quite eventful for recalls  of food and beverage products due to foodborne contamination, foreign body contamination and others due to packaging faults.

We have seen horsemeat dominate the whole year, Nestlé, Kellogg, Ikea, KP Snacks, General Mills and Kraft Foods all feature in the gallery for being affected by product recalls.

Reasons range from metal and glass contamination, Listeria findings, yeast fermentation worries to early spoilage fears.

Join us as FoodQualityNews.com takes you through the recalls in true 12-days-of-Chrismas-style with one for each month spanning all corners of the globe.
