Diode array spectrometer from Carl Zeiss
Carl Zeiss has developed the MCS 600 and the CORONA systems for measurements in the UV/visible and NIR spectral range. MCS 600 is especially suitable for measurements in the UV range, versatile tasks and a very high degree of flexibility can be fulfilled.
CORONA systems will be used preferably where portable systems are needed, where 12 V power supply is required, and a maximum of sensitivity is necessary. In addition to the standard systems Carl Zeiss provide also customized measuring systems e.g.for:
Meat analyser/Spice analyzer - can analyze meat and sausages at-line in only 15 seconds. This instrument can also be used as a spice analyzer, it allows the inspection of delivered spices and mixtures. The meat analyzer allows product and batch inspection by comparisons via the absorption curve, quantitative information about some ingredients via appropriate calibrations such as, e.g. % water, % fat, % protein, % collagenic connective tissue ("BEFFE") and color measurement ( e.g. for spices ).
Malt and green malt analyzer can precisely analyze several parameters in malt, green malt and grain in less than ten seconds during the measurement. Typical parameters include water, extract, protein, soluble nitrogen, VZ45 and viscosity. On request: boiling color, pH value and B-Glucan.
Fries analyzer - allows the quickly analyze of water and fat content in just 15 seconds directly at line during the production process and thereby simultaneously determine the final color value of deep-fried fries even before deep frying..
